Joining Safer Food Scores more than six years ago, our Commercial Director swapped her bustling corporate London commute for the beautiful market town of Berkhamsted, embracing a new chapter in professional growth. An expert in operational efficiency and customer service, with layered expertise in commercial and technical realms garnered over the years, Lucy has built and nurtured a formidable team, whilst facilitating business growth and development.

Passionate about cultivating enduring relationships with colleagues, clients, partners, and suppliers, she believes that authentic connections are the bedrock of any successful enterprise. 

Inspired by words of wisdom from Walt Disney, who once said “Whatever you do, do it well…”

Lucy upholds a steadfast commitment to excellence, surpassing expectations with unwavering dedication. 

Away from work, Lucy’s weekends are spent tending to her allotment, exploring the art of creating artisanal gins from her bountiful produce, a true labour of love!

 

Fun Fact about Lucy: A maverick of adventure and seeker of thrills, you might spot her soaring through the skies indulging in her love for skydiving. 

Lucy's Fun Fact about Food Spinach is not as iron-rich as Popeye claimed! The myth that spinach contains an extraordinary amount of iron stems from a 19th-century study that misplaced a decimal point, inflating the iron content tenfold.
