Who’s it for?
This one-day qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace, this includes supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshalls) and staff working in any areas where there is a potential risk of fire. There are no pre-requisites for this qualification but it is advised that candidates have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. Arrangements are in place for special needs.

What’s it about?
Level 2 Award in Managing Fire Safety provides a basic understanding of workplace fire safety and prevention.

How is it assessed?
There is a 45 minute 20 question multiple-choice test at the end of the course and you need 12 out of 20 to pass. Following the course you will be sent a Level 2 Award in Fire Safety  certificate.

What will I get out of it?
The aim of the one day Level 2 Award in Fire Safety is to ensure you know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace with recognition of the consequences of a fire in any premise.
