Free food hygiene training app a success
Audrey Deane reports how the uptake of the offer to trial the new food safety gaming app has been very popular.
‘We’re really pleased with the huge range of businesses across the UK taking up the offer and the feedback has been great – from hotels, restaurants and catering businesses through to schools, childminders and volunteers. It just shows how diverse our food industry is and the importance of good quality food safety training. We’re also been speaking to businesses about how the game can be integrated into training initiatives focused on improving food safety culture’.
The offer to catering businesses of a FREE food hygiene certificate (on successful completion) is still available from the creators of the ground-breaking app. This Chartered Institute of Environmental Health assured vocational qualification normally costs £25.
With A Game to Train it has never been easier. It can be accessed on any device, is available in nine languages, and, crucially, is fun to play with challenges, rewards and leader boards to drive engagement.
Caterers can claim their FREE Food Hygiene Certificate up to April 30th 2017 by visiting www.agametotrain.co.uk and entering their contact details to receive a game code (full T’s and C’s available on the website)
