The Health and Safety Executive’s free on-line assessment tool determines the number and type of first aiders you need to comply with the law and takes only a few minutes to complete.
To use the tool, you need to enter information on the degree of hazard and number of employees in your workplace.
It will then suggest the number and type of first-aid personnel to provide at all times people are at work.
A series of questions then highlights additional factors that could influence your overall first-aid provision.
